Hurry Run!! Free Stuff!!

There is free cosmetic stuff they are giving away at the major department stores.  There was some major lawsuit and part of the settlement is that these major cosmetic companies (Este Lauder, Clinique, Lancome, etc) have to give away some product as a "gift" to the public.  So go to any major dept. store... Dillards, Macy's, Nordstrom, etc and sign a paper stating that you bought cosmetics there sometime in the last 15 years, and you get to pick a product.  I got some Lancome mascara and this Clinique moisturizer (retails for $46.50).  But I think it's only while supplies last, so it could be going for a few days, or maybe they will run out today.  I was so stoked cause I NEVER go to the mall, and the day I picked was my lucky day.  Free Stuff!!!

Happy Birthday Nomi!!!

My sweet baby is 2 years old today!!!  Can't believe it.  She has turned into such a smart, funny, talkative, feisty, wonderful little girl and I just adore her!!!  Love you Naomi!!!

Lasik Success!

So I had Lasik surgery last Thursday and it was a success!!!  This was my big Christmas present. It really is kind of miraculous to not see without glasses/contacts for 16 years, then wake up one morning and see great!  It takes about a week or so to have perfect vision (it's still a bit blurry when I drive at night) but it is wonderful to be done with contacts & glasses!!!  The surgery itself didn't hurt at all... though you are awake, just numb... but it completely grossed me out to be aware of what was going on.  A little bit freaky.  (Thought I'd put this picture in to gross you out too!)  Then it burned and watered the rest of the day after surgery.  But next day... everything was practically perfect.  Totally worth it.  I recommend it!

Such a Good Mom!

I went outside to put Savannah in the carpool for preschool and apparently left the door ajar and came back to see this.  Didn't phase her at all.
