Weeks 13-15: 85-106

Wow!  Got busy the last 3 weeks.  Here goes my attempt at catch-up and 21 things:

 85. Went to Bean Museum at BYU with some friends on our street
(there were more kids... I didn't get them all in this photo :( )

 86. Hurt my foot by banging it into some dumb metal thing.  So obviously I'm not grateful this happened.. but I'm grateful it wasn't as bad as I initially thought.  The next picture is how it looked 36 hours later.  I hurt for a week & bruised nicely but healed quickly.

87. Good little teeth brushers :)

 88. Went to Thornton Reunion (my mom's side of family).
Loved seeing this generation of brothers and sisters (my great aunt & uncles) playing cards together.

 89. Had a "Pirate Party" just for fun for my girls.
They love show Jake & The Neverland Pirates and started talking about having
a party at the beginning of summer.  I kept putting it off and finally gave in.
Invited a few neighbor kids, had a treasure hunt & ate treats.

 90. love my cute kids.  I'm a nerdy mom who dressed us up matchy-matchy one day.

91. My brother Jack came home from his mission in Chile!
It was the best to see him again!
Happiness & Hugs all around!!!!

92. Jack got to meet my baby boy for the first time!

93. Had an awesome Family reunion.
My parents were in charge with one other family so we put on some fun games.
Tug-o-war was a hit.  Here are the kids doing it!

94. We also did a version of the Amazing Race.
We focused the tasks around our grandma & grandpa who are deceased.
It was awesome to learn about them and do things they did at 10 different stations.
(examples: grandma was a softball pitcher so we had to pitch balls through a hanging tire.
grandpa loved bologne sandwiches & grandma loved raw green onions and everyone had to eat one of them. gpa was a carpenter so we had to hammer nails into boards.)
The games were a big hit!!!
Thanks to my cousin Danielle who helped out tons with it and made awesome cards & signs.

95. Thankful to my parents who rented a motor home and let all the kids ride with them to the reunion.
Saved us parents a 4-hour trip with the young-uns.
Mom & Dad you are awesome!
And they let me stay in there the 2nd night after the first night with a baby in a tent was a disaster!

96. Cute brother Austin who always helps me out with my kids!
And cute sister Alison's car.  Thanks Al for letting me take your car at 2 am when baby wouldn't stop crying and my car was trapped and I had to drive around to get him back to sleep.

97. Little hike with the kiddies.
This is our favorite huge fallen tree that we find every year and take pictures on.

98. After reunion we spent a couple days at cabin.  Took a few fun 4-wheeler rides.

 99. Love my hubby.   He is such a fun & creative parents.
He took the girls on a hike, found this little stream & bridge.
Played "trolls" with the girls.
They hid under the bridge and would jump out at him when he tried to cross.
He had to answer a question that they asked in order to pass.
So cute! :)

 100.  baby boy crawls up to me multiple times a day, backs up, and snuggles right in between my feet.
It's too adorable!

101. For about the 4th year in a row I got to go to education week at BYU for my birthday this past week.  It is one of my favorite things to do!
Joey took me for the day and we had a good time together.

 102. He took me afterwards to one of my favorite restaurants: Carrabas!
Love the Chicken Bryan pictured below.

103. Got a PIANO for my bday!  So awesome!
I have wanted one my whole married life.
Got a digital clavinova.
I love that we can manipulate the volume and sounds and
I can't wait to become a better player and teach my kids.

104. Thanks to my parents & siblings who took me to my other favorite restaurant
Tepanyaki for my b-day!  My mom always knows how to make birthdays special!

105. I love seeing my kids help each other and have fun together!
 106. I love Summer time!  I can't believe my kids have to go back to school next week :(
I have loved having them home, swimming, playing outside, sno-cones, green grass, watermelon...
love it all!  Don't want it to end.

Week 12: 78-84

What made me happy or grateful this week:

 78.  Oh my little 6 year old pulled out her 4th tooth this week!
Looking crazy in there but she's so proud & so adorable & I love the little lisp.

 79.  Discovered something called "Bountiful Baskets."
It's a food co-op and I got all these fruits and veggies
(there's more under the food shown that you can't see too good)
for $16.  I tallied up what this would all cost at the grocery store and I think it's almost half off this way.
Good deal & lots of fun!
80. Following in grandpa's footsteps my kids picked this wild sunflower for me :)

81. Found this fabulous blog called House of Turquoise... I'm in love with almost everything on it, including the above room.

82. So these aren't the most impressive before & after pictures but.... I'm proud to say that
I'VE REACHED MY GOAL WEIGHT!!
I lost  my last 18 pounds of baby weight (though there is a 30+ pound difference in these pictures).
I still have a few areas to work on because but I'm happy with my weight.
All it takes is exercising 40-60 minutes, 6 days a week, for 10 months ;)
(Weight training 3 days a week and cardio 3 days a week).

83. July with no days over 100 degrees.
Maybe it was in some places but I don't think it ever broke 100 where I live.
I love the heat over the cold but 70s, 80s, &90s are good for me.
We had no a/c in our last house and about 2 years ago was the most days over 100 on record.
So I'm grateful for a perfect summer

84.  Date with my hubby.  It had been a while since we went out.
We just went to the movies.
Cowboys  & Aliens.
It wasn't a great movie but it wasn't terrible either.
But I do think these 2 actors make pretty awesome cowboys!
