I made it!

Sooooo, I made it!  I made it to 52 weeks, 365 days of something I love or made me happy or that I am grateful for.  It has been hard sometimes but mostly simple to come up with stuff.  I have so much goodness in my life if I just look for it!

So I'm a little tired of posting so often, so I'm not sure what I'll do from here on out.  Start again? Try something different?  Just post randomly probably.  Anyway, yay!  Grateful that I did it.  Grateful that it's over. :)  Thanks for anyone who stuck in there with me and checked it out along the way.

Weeks 51 & 52: 353-365

What made me happy or grateful these past 2 weeks:

353.  S had my phone and was listening to Pandora 

and drew a picture of each of the artists as they came on :)

354. I'm counting on my little boy to be

my clean, organized kid.

Check out how he separated these toys:

princesses over here, cars over there :)

355.  More cleaning... helping me wash the windows.

He insisted and wouldn't leave me alone.

Start em young right?

here he is helping again.      

This is seriously my new favorite... having him help me unload the dishwasher.

He knows where stuff goes.

He did the silverware all by himself :)                  

355.  One morning he woke up early (like 6) and we went

downstairs so as to not wake everyone else up.

I laid on the couch reading or rather trying to wake up (or possibly go back to sleep)

and he played next to me.

356. Snuggling with his sister.

I'm grateful that my kids love each other

and actually get along very well.

357. Love this face!!

358.  Working on a project in our yard.  

It will be a while so before & afters to come later.

Kids couldn't resist this dirt though.

 So obviously a bath came next.

My kids like to have me leave the water running 

so they can get drinks whenever they want.

359.  Happy May Day!

S made this for me and it had candy in it. 

So sweet!

360.  Went for a walk to our neighborhood snow cone shack 

(my kids are grateful that it's open)

Caught this sweet shot of these 2 friends.

361. My mom and I went shopping one morning and my dad kept my kids.

Came home to this darling little picnic.

Best Grandpa Ever!

 362.  Finally went to see my sister's kitties.

They went to get their cat spayed and they said, 

sorry, this cat is pregnant.

My kids want one so bad.....

....hmmmm... maybe :/

363.  My kids did this with their cousins.  

It was their snow cone shack. ;)

364. After Sav's soccer game 

(she just started a couple weeks ago)

we stopped at my favorite local bakery and got

my favorite donut ever!

Seriously people, this thing is good!

Old fashioned buttermilk bar.

Maybe I have mentioned it on my blog before??

That's how good it is though.

 365. Joey and I got a long overdue date!

A friend gave us free tickets to the Jazz playoffs.

 Jazz bear came by and squirted us with silly string

Thanks to my mom and dad who kept the kids while we were gone!

They are the best grandparents!
