50 Things about Natalie....I tag everyone who reads this to try it....it's hard!

1.  I once owned a cow that my grandpa arranged for my sisters and I to buy from his friend for a bag of smashed aluminum cans.  We named it Florida, since it had a "star" mark on his forehead with a shape similar to the state.
2.  I love popcorn!  I eat like 5 bags a week.  I switched to the 94% fat free kind though since swimsuit season is coming up!
3.  I once ate chicken heart.  Nasty!  It was in Bolivia.
4.  I threw up and passed out on my wedding day (not due to marrying Joey, but because I had contracted a virus--what great timing)
5.  I collect stamps.
6.  I once swam with dolphins in Hawaii....not tame one that you pay to swim with, but dolphins out in the wild in the ocean.  We had to paddle way out on surf boards and chase them, but it was one of the best experiences of my life!
7.  I hate mushrooms, eggs, and all seafood.
8.  I went hunting and shot a deer while 7 months pregnant.
9.  I was on the Senior Prom Court in High School.
10.  My favorite tv shows are LOST, Monk, Psych, American Idol, & Extreme Home Makeover
11.  I've had the same hair do pretty much since High School.  Maybe its time for a change
12.  I've been to Europe twice.  Pretty lucky.
13.  While in Europe I kissed a boy on top of the Eiffel Tower (sorry Joey--it was 2 years before I knew you.)
14.  I have a quarter collection but it only has less than half of the states filled in, even though there are only 4 left to come out.  I need to catch up.
15.  When we first got married we didn't have a car so we rode bikes everywhere.  (this was at BYU Hawaii).  Sounds okay, but imagine grocery shopping on a bike and taking laundry to the laundry mat.  Not to mention rainy days about 40-60% of the time.
16.  My favorite drink is "fresh lime squeeze"
17.  One of my worst fears is being in front of people and talking...yet I force myself to do this 1-3 times when I teach spinning.  I get freaked out everytime I teach still, even after doing it for more than 2 years.  I don't know what I'm thinking.
18.  I'm not even half way done and I can't think of anything else.
19.  I've beat Joey the last 2 years doing March Madness basketball brackets, but I don't think I'll win this year.
20.  I'm scared of everything.  Worrying about everything has been instilled from my mom's side of the family.  I don't even want to finish this because I'm convinced that some psycho will read this and use the info to come kill my whole family.  Please don't!
21.  I love the Twilight and Harry Potter Series.  Am I juvenile for that?
22.  I just bought my first "sexy" pair of high heels.  I figured that it was time to graduate from flip flops and tennies, even if only for a few hours on Sunday.
23.  I can't sleep unless I'm on my stomach.  Makes the last few months of pregnancy miserable.
24.  I can't resist a good deal.  I'll buy a shirt even if I don't like it or need it, just because its only $2.
25.  I'm looking at a shelf right now that my sisters boyfriend made for me.  He didn't make her one, just one for me...not sure why???????
26.  My sister and I dated brothers or best friends 4 different times and even married guys with the same last name.
27.  I love to read in bed at night, while my husband hates it and wants the lights turned off....sometimes makes life difficult.
28.  Everyone in my fam has to wear glasses or contacts.  I think my kids are doomed to be 4 eyes.
29.  I've moved 29 times in my life (that's why I put it as number 29)
30.  I wish that I could stop at 30 because everything is going to get really stupid from now on because I can think of nothing else interesting.
31.  I used to be the branch pianist in Mexico... as sad thought considering how not good at the piano I am.  They were desperate.
32.  I used to teach English classes every Thursday night when we lived in Mexico.
33.  Not suprisingly we didn't have a car in Mexico so we rode the bus and walked everywhere there.  Bus riding south of the border is an unenviable experience.  Especially if you're pregnant (which i was).
34.  I've been whale watching and deep sea fishing.
35.  I am scared to snorkel because I think I'll see a shark.  I really want to learn to scuba dive, but if I'm scared when I snorkel...how will I do at scuba diving??
36.  Joey and I want to go to Thailand or somewhere like that someday and ride an elephant.
37.  I have a strange obsession with everything British.  I love books set in England (Harry Potter, Victorian Mysteries), love their accents, sometimes watch the BBC, want to travel all over the countryside there, etc. (danielle--I'm waiting for you and stu to take me)
38.  My food weaknesses are warm homemade cookies and bread.
39.  I HATE cockaroaches!!!  There were tons in my house in Hawaii... there are just tons there no matter what you do, how clean you are, it doesn't matter... and its gross.
40.  I really want to go on an extended trip in an RV someday.  Maybe hit all the national parks or something.
41.  I used to work at a law firm as a litigation clerk.  I worked for 3 months typing info into the computer for a case and they ended up settling the case out of court and never used a dang thing that I did.  Slightly frustrating, but I still got paid so I shouldn't care.
42.  I used to work at a spa in Hawaii and they were shooting a movie there at the hotel and I met Morgan Freeman, Denise Richards, Charlie Sheen, the Will and Grace red head girl (I can't think of her name) & Minnie Driver.  (when I say meet its more like they came into the spa and I directed them where they needed to go...but it still counts.)
43.  I want to run a marathon someday but I don't think my knees will allow it... they kill when I run, so I might settle for biking a marathon (does that count?)
44.  I've been through 2 tornados while growing up.  We used to have "tornado drills" in Nebraska, just like you have fire drills.  We had basements in our elementary school.
45.  I was She-Ra for Halloween when I was 5 and I thought I was so Awesome!  My mom made a really cool costume for me.
46.  I once lived in a small town in AZ called Bullhead City.  Everyone liked to cross the "L"s to look like "T"s on signs.  Nice.
47.  I Love Cafe Rio salads (who doesn't?) and I want one right now.
48.  I love Sonic ice. (Did you know that you could buy it by the bagfuls for only like a $1/bag?)
49.  My nickname in High School was "Nat Bat Chicken Fat."  And I still get called that all the time, even by friends not in HS.
50.  I Love my husband and kids and being a mom, even though its pretty hard... I'd never change a thing!  (except make my kids listen better and do things precisely when I say, and potty train themselves at age two, and eat everything I give them, and..... just kidding-sort of)

Now you all have to try.  Its pretty hard.  It took me 3 different sittings to finish.

Just wanted to add a few pictures of our fun trip we took a couple of weeks ago to my parents' cabin.  We had to snowshoe in about 3/4 of a mile with all of our stuff and our girls.  It was a blast though!  The weather was warm and we had such a wonderful time.  Joey dug snow tunnels with Savannah and we enjoyed being away from it all.  It was so beautiful and not another person around.  We even saw a cool fox. We can't wait to go again!

I'm now a Blogger!

Months after almost everyone I know has started a blog I have decided to jump on the band wagon. I still can't imagine anyone wanting to read what I may have to write, but it will be fun to get some stuff written down with pictures, just for myself, since I am a horrbible journal writer and never get around to scrapbooking anymore. I have been very intimidated to start blogging since I'm not the most computer savvy person, so thanks to my friend Lacie and her friend Kelly for getting me started and helping (or rather completely doing for me) the adorable header and background and pictures, etc. Thanks so much!!!!! I'll try to get something interesting on here soon.
